I promised a review for this wonderful novel early in the summer. Now that the summer is almost over, I am finally getting around to the review. It was Lisa’s beautiful novel that inspired the Sea Glass Throw. Extracting color ideas from the cover of her book and reading between crocheting rows, this throw was born. I have since sold two more. See what good things can happen when you spend your summer reading good books?

I loved this book. It’s rich, multilayered storyline is laced with beautiful prose. At times, it’s heart-crushing, and at other times, the story surprises you with little moments of joy.
Gott is a brilliant writer, who immediately pulls you into the story through strong characterization, making lasting emotional connections with the reader from the first sentence to the last.
I began this book at the edge of summer vacation, but it was more than a beach read. It was romantic literary beauty.
